Allison Kuch responds to criticism of daughter’s name Pepper Jo after birth announcemen

The internet loves to bicker about celebrities baby names, and Allison Kuch is the latest older to close the commentary.

After welcoming her second daughter with former NFL player Isaac Rochell, the influencer had to fend off a slew of criticism.

Kuch directly addressed the discussion in a TikTok video after seeing the comments pouring in on social media.

“I see a lot of mixed opinions when it comes to my baby’s name because I just had a baby and her name is Pepper Jo,” Kuch began.

“I’ve seen the discourse: people making videos of, ‘I’m not trying to be rude, but…’

She then offered a simple answer to anyone who isn’t a fan.

“If you don’t like the name, here’s a tip: Don’t think about it,” she said. “Don’t think of a stranger’s baby on the Internet if you don’t like it.”

Kuch, 31, also pointed out that unusual names are hardly new territory.

“And in a world where people name their children after inanimate objects, I don’t think Pepper is that,” she said. “Actually, I’ve met two Peppers in the past year.”

Looking ahead, she said she has no doubt her daughter will grow into the name.

“I just know that one day she’s going to grow up and be absolutely beautiful and be a villain at whatever she wants to do, and people are going to be like, yeah, and her name is Pepper. How sick is that?”

The couple shared the news of Pepper Jo’s arrival in a joint Instagram post, with a photo of them in the hospital cradling the newborn.

“Our sweet baby girl is here!! Pepper Jo 🎀✨,” the caption read.

“One of the best days of our lives and the VBAC [a vaginal birth after caesarean] of my dreams,” Kuch told her 1.1 million followers.
